Re: iPod connected directly to FJ Jammer - Installation Instructions

All the bugs and glitches are worked out now and have been for about 10 months or more now.. I was one of the orginal people to put it in the FJ and I am still using it daily, every day still, and I love it. You can still control the ipod while it is docked. My only issue with it is when you wanna play a song again and hit the previous track button it takes you back to the start of the song that was played just befor the one you were just listing to. It is not like a Cd player when you hit the down button it restarts the song again you are listing to. With the dice, you wanna play the song again you have to wait for the next song to begain or hit down then up. You get use to it though. I don't play Cd's or listen to the radio anymore. Ipod all the way.

Re: iPod connected directly to FJ Jammer - Installation Instructions

Update it does work with the iPhone as I and my co-worker messed around with it one day. It will only streem audio from the phone and have no real control of it. It will not do the audio from video files or the such. You can not use it for hands free talking either. You do have to mess with some of the phone settings to get it to work. We did try another iphone that was unlocked to be used on the Verizon network and for some reason we were not able to make it work. Also my co-worked updated the frrmware on his iphone to get better icons and colors and made it work intermintly to almost not waorking at all with the Dice unit after this. So lots of research is still needed to get the iphone up to speed here. I would be currious of other people's attemps to get it to work. We only did like a 30 min. test one day as it was late and we were wanting to go home.
