Room where stock sub would normally go....
I don't have the subwoofer or the inverter in my FJ. I was wondering if any of you that have had things apart could tell me if there is room behind the panel where the subwoofer would go to install an aftermarket inverter. I was thinking that I could order the stock inverter plug in and panel and install the aftermarket inverter behind the panel where the sub would go and then wire it into the stock plug in panel. I would be looking at a bigger inverter than the 400 watt stock one, probably 1000 - 1500 watt so it would be fairly good sized.
I also thought that I would run the power straight from the battery back to a small fuse box, possibly in the storage box and then I'd have a place to power extra 12 volt sockets and possibly for other options later on.
