Question AVIC-Z1 with stock sub??

Hello everyone!

I have searched through the forums and I haven't found exactly what I am looking for so I thought I would post. Also, before anyone asks why I would use the factory sub? Well, simple....funds. I will be upgrading the speakers at some point....but I need the stock sub to work for now.

I had the AVIC-Z1 installed and the stock sub is not working. I believe I had read through the forums here that this is possible, but I could not find a post for a Z1 (saw D1 and D2, etc). I believe the power will still be getting to my sub via the push-button switch under the head unit (Correct??). I just need to know what to tell my tech to connect for the stock sub to work with the Z1.

Again, I really appreciate the responses!!!

You want to connect the amp power wire(mine was blue/white) from the Z1 to the power antenna wire of the wiring harness. For some reason, Toyota used the power antenna wire to power the sub.
