Sirius Radio - Right Speakers not working

Just bought Monster cable so I could listen to my sirius radio through the AUX jack. I have everything connected now, but I'm not getting any sound through the speakers on the right side of the car. Any ideas on what I need to do to correct this?

Help!

Re: Sirius Radio - Right Speakers not working

My first guess would be the cable. Is it inserted into the AUX port all the way?

Which Monster cable did you purchase, was it the following?
Monster MP3 MusicConnect Portable Audio Player to Car Stereo Cable (1/8" Mini to 1/8 Mini)

the same happend to me, i didn't have the cable inserted all the way, also look on the 1/8" jack and check for 2 black lines (means stereo) if you see one black band, you have a mono cable.

Re: Sirius Radio - Right Speakers not working

Yup, could be a cable not inserted all the way or you bought a mono cable.

Re: Sirius Radio - Right Speakers not working

if you've got a starmate, it is a known defect that the mini (1/8") jack on the starmate doesn't make good contact with the stereo mini jack. you can diagnose it by swirling the plug around the jack, and the channels will cut in and out. I've tried many different cables, and they are all the same.

by the way, not to criticize, but stop wasting your money on monster cable. they are overhyped and overpriced. there is much better stuff for car and home out there for half the price.
