Re: Showoff Your Mods!

Holy BLING factor.

Please get your FJ dirty, and take it offroad where it WANTS to be.

STOP blinging it out, until you get a scratch or two...and those mall/parking lot scratches dont count.

Or tell me to shut up, and go get some 22" spinners and a 4" lowering kit.

Nice install...how much did you pay for it? Did you do it yourself?

Re: Showoff Your Mods!

No bling, I just wanted to install a nice systen for the kids to watch, wanted to put a overhead screen only, got a killer deal on the headrests complete with 9 inch screens on ebay, 250.00, the DVD indash is set up so I can have my rear view camera on while I am in drive, to see all the blind spots. I could not see the sides of the FJ cruising down the freeway, so I installed the 400mm rear view mirror, which lets me see out all window, including the rear sides. I wanted to tint my windows, wanted to set my FJ apart with the design, no bling, I like the stock rims.
The indash DVD regular price is 700.00, got it a Fry's electronics, 299.00. Purchased the single din kit on ebay with wiring harness for 2007 FJ 24.95, Installed myself, very easy. The magellin I had from before, works great. Love XM, but it cost $ for each radio activated, so I put my Pioneer portable in to take in the house, work, ect.
Cost me around a Grand to do it all. Waiting for the snow!

Fine and dandy.

Do you have any recovery gear?

Do you have a 1st aid kit? Fire extinguisher?

Do you have a spill kit??? OR tools to fix a broken whatever????

Do you have a towstrap? Do you have shackels and recovery points?

Those were my priorites before my bling stereo setup.

Re: Showoff Your Mods!

I agree offroading might be on the weekends, but the kids are 24-7.
