Re: Yakima adapters

I went for the 50", it matches the width of the FJ nicely. The 44" works as well, but IMO the 50" looks better. Note that there is a white protective sticker on the fairing on both sides. I put my clamps on the fairing before I realized it was there on the back and the clamps are a one way deal, once they're on, they're on. So, the white sticker is there for good. It's not a big deal because it matched the roof, but just thought I'd warn you in case you care.

Re: Yakima adapters

I received my Yakimadaptor mounts yesterday afternoon and promptly installed them this morning. Suck a slick system and very easy install! I followed the waterproofing instructions and added some teflon tape on the bolt threads. I'm not expecting any problems with water. I can't wait to test it out with a canoe trip on Saturday.

Hello chewey46 it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?
