Yep, I bent it?

I'm no engineer but I don't think this is supposed to be bent like that.
Any recommendations on replacements??

What's the story behind the bend? I assume you must know the moment it happened. From what everyone says about those stock links, it looks like it held up ok, at least not snapping and stranding you in the wild. I assume you came down hard on a big boulder with all of the weight of the FJ on the link?

I like the Toyoutfitters links but I think there is some metal removal required with one of the mounts? That's why I'm going All Pro- plug and play

Re: Yep, I bent it?

When you compare the stockers to the aftermaket its insane. It's like a tooth pick net to a Louisville Slugger

Ive bounced off a few rocks on my AP's and its scratched the PC- Nothing else and Im running one of the more heavy rigs on here.

Good to know OC, and reaffirms my decision with AP... again. No tacos for my FJ except at the Mexican restaurant!

Re: Yep, I bent it?

Believe it not I didn't realize it was bent till today. It must of happened while wheeling in N. Jersey last month. I always clean the undercarriage and do an inspection the next day but somehow I missed this! I got to save up some cash and do a little shopping. I've so outgrown most of the stock components, I need a sponsor!
