Question Donahoe coilover rebuild kit

I just installed them a few weeks ago, so hopefully I won't have to worry about this for a long time. Still, out of (noob) curiousity, I'd like to know what is involved with rebuilding the Donahoe COs when they finally do go out.

I didn't see a parts kit on their website. Does anyone know what's involved, what's it cost, how it's done, etc?

Thanks for humoring my dumb question

To have Donahoes rebuilt - sent them in to Donahoe - they rebuild them for about $70-100 each...

Re: Donahoe coilover rebuild kit

Larry beat me to it. Have them rebuild it, it is cheap and you know it will be done right.

Re: Donahoe coilover rebuild kit

Our normal rebuild service is $40.00 - $60.00 per shock and that inludes all parts needed. We completely go through the shock from one end to the other.

Good to know... thanks!

BTW, how long is the turnaround time on that... or rather, how long is the FJ up on blocks in the front lawn?

Re: Donahoe coilover rebuild kit

Ok, so how long does the coil over usually last before needing the rebuild?
