Fox has released UCAs?!

I may be late on this and forgive me if this has already been mentioned, I did a search and nothing came up...

That said, does anyone have these new Fox UCA's?

What do you guys think?

From MTB experience, I love the fact that fox has always made suspension components serviceable through them.

Im in the market for UCAs shortly.. may have to be the guinea pig.

Re: Fox has released UCAs?!

Interesting they went with a pressed bushing on the engine side when we see poly bushings are common for aftermarket. I mean, it's well thought out. I wonder how the price will be.

Someone in Michigan should contact them up about test fitting a set for an FJ :

They're $699, 1yr warranty, greasable moog balljoint covered by o-ring sealed dust cap, indexed for max range of motion at 2" lift (from install instructions)

Re: Fox has released UCAs?!

Considering it is in the price range of the Total Chaos tubular urethane UCA..

Do you think the price for Fox's UCA it too much?

I like the Fox UCA ball joint cover.

does anyone have any experience with the Fox UCA? or know someone that has them?

Picking up UCAs beginning of next week and this just made me second guess buying the total chaos tubular urethane UCAs..

Re: Fox has released UCAs?!

I'd be wary, for this reason only.

As per the instructions:

"Arms are designed to work with Fox Coilovers that require upper control arms and may not work with all aftermarket spacer lifts / lift kits."

IMO - Id purchase what has been proven to work.

They did specify the ball joint was maximized for efficiency on 2" lift. Maybe just a reason to go with a uniball if you're going taller.

FJs and Tacomas and even 4Runners share suspension components. They have to know that parts are interchangeable between models as they make coilovers that fit all 3 vehicles that have the same part number.

The UCAs are a little different in FJ/4Runner than Tacoma, for example Light Racing part.no is 25480 for FJ 07-14 and 25470 for Tacoma 05-. It's something bushings related: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/...pc-uca.370015/

But most of the aftermarket UCAs fit to Tacoma and FJ too.
Here is said these fits too: http://www.rockridge4wd.com/i-240764...-80021252.html
