Bilstein 5100's All the way around?

My Rancho set up is worn out, and my old Pro Comp AT's cupped bad. Local 4 Wheel Parts recommended Bilstein 5100's to replace the Rancho's. Any input would be appreciated?

I have been using 5100s for about four years now. Good bye nose dive when breaking!

I've run 5100's for several years and I like them. The front is set at the third notch to level my rig out. They ride nice, I would buy them again.

I have them... no complaints. Plus two on 3rd notch to level it.

I like mine too but I did shorter coils in back so the front shocks are not extended.

Re: Bilstein 5100's All the way around?

I put the 5100's on just the front at the 2nd highest notch to level things out. The ride noticeably improved.

One side effect was the rear of the truck lowered slightly. I only noticed this because my CB antenna stopped dinging my garage door. Also the view out the windshield seems "truckier" with it leveled because the hood extends straight out instead of angling down.

I too am considering the rear 5100's for ride quality only - since they apparently do not add any lift. (Maybe just a little when they are brand new?) I have been forbidden from making the FJ any higher off the ground

Be sure to replace the strut mounts at the same time (that is what everyone reminded me to do).
