Thumbs up All-Pro Lift - Installed

Well, I finely got my All-Pro (non-reservoir) lift installed, test driven and, of course, pics taken. Here's the brief run down...

I chose the non-reservoir All-Pro kit partly due to the more reasonable cost (compared to the adjustable model and the Donahoes). And while I see the value of having adjustable dampening, I trusted that Walker Evens and All-Pro would have this kit well-sorted - and boy was I right!

I was also considering a ToyTec / OME kit, they also offer a quality product and great customer service, but I recently sold one of my motorcycles and wanted to splurge a little.

I had the kit installed by a local shop, Shaffers Offroad - Shaffers Offroad

It turns out that Shaffers is a Walker Evans dealer, so they were very familiar with the product in general and they had done a few All-Pro installs on Tacoma's - Great guys and a very positive experience - highly recommended!

On the road, the ride feels much more compliant, with far better dampening and much better control over speed-bumps. Offroad, was the biggest difference. Washboard all but disappeared! All the harshness of the factory suspension on sharp edges was gone and the thing just plain sucks-up big bumps.

Needless to say, I'm a very happy man!

All-Pro has the component prices on their Web Site. My bill had their rock rails on it as well and was $1,700, including shipping.

Installation was $550ish and included labor to install (and bleed) the rear brake lines and an alignment.

I knew the tires looked a little small. Haha, just kidding. Thanks!

Re: All-Pro Lift - Installed

Looks great and I'm jealous! I'm still waiting for my lift. They are out of Walker Evens parts at the moment but I do have my order placed!
