Help! Just measured FJ with OME roof rack and my garage. If OME kit is 3" I can't get in garage, 2" should be OK. I'm reluctant to add kit if I can't put in garage since it is not the daily driver. Do these kits provide a true 3" lift as advertised,or is 2" more realistic as some have posted?

Joe, call Doug at Toy Tec and tell him your needs. I am sure he can figure something out for ya.
Man, not to confuse the issue, but I've got the heavy duty OME suspension set-up and I'm just not seeing the 3". Much more in the range of 2". This is affected by a heavy front bumper (ARB w/Warn 9.5XP) and some sag occurs after break in.
If your tolerances are really that close, I wouldn't risk it. Or, better yet, just get some Donahoe coilovers and adjust height as needed!

Good luck.
Thanks but the Donahoe coilovers are just too expensive for me, my hope is that after an ARB and winch install that it would provide enough sag to get her into the garage. I'm still hopefull depending on others experrience. Is there some 'settleing' period post OME install? The wife says to build a carport outside the garage, we're moving in a year and I don't want to spend the money for a car port and abandon it in a year.
Hey 20Montana, were you the the one getting the Expedition One bumber with the big hoops? Have you received it yet?
Well actually I am getting the Fab Four bumper with the big hoops. That is if they ever get the damn things to ship to me. Just got an e-mail that it will be mid December now.
I think you will be ok. I had a decent sag-factor from the ARB bumper alone without the heavy-a$$ winch. I hear what your saying about the DRs. Nice but pricey.
