Adjusting The "fj Lean"

I have lifted-my FJ leaned to the left before the lift by 1" (as many of ours do) and still leans after my lift. Currently the distance to the lip of my wheel well is:
Front L 37.5" R 38.5"
Rear L 37.5" R 38.7"

I have Donahoe front coil overs.

My question:
If I adjust my right front coilover to 37.5 ", will it push my right rear down? Will it pull my left rear up? Will it affect the rear much at all? If it won't affect the rear, I'll just leave it-the roads are crowned anyway. I do have some recovery gear and tools I can shift in the back
If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it. The obivious thing of course is to adjust it and see what happens. That is a bit of a PITA so I thought I would float it here first. Thanks

Re: Adjusting The "fj Lean"

Assuming the lean is similar to the FJ40, the only "fix" for the "problem" was a spring pre-tensioner that Toyota came out with. It basically was a plate between the u bolts and the spring that when tight, would bring the high side down a few inches. Adding extra springs, or blocks on the low side wouldn't help any. Please post your results.

Thanks-I'll try to find time tomorrow to tweak the front end. Will see what happens.

Re: Adjusting The "fj Lean"

the only real solution we have on the forum thus far is to find an overweight travelling companion.

Yea, I saw the "fat girlfriend" rec on another thread. My wife is too thin--would the fat girlfriend talk alot? Maybe a couple of those 7 gallon water cans in the back? That should help my milage! Sounds like I should just get over it

Sounds like you are considering it. haha. Naw, I'm picky, so stuff like that drives me nuts. My FJ leaned a bit after the lift, but then I found out it was my driveway. Sounds like yours still leans even on flat surfaces. Post up if you ever find a solution. Good luck Razor.
