Ok I tried some more of my old entrances to the river bed and there locked as well makes me mad. I'll get in there one way or another.

However, you NEED these and you will lose ZERO travel. The wear and tear it will save on your rig is worth it alone! Trust me, you still get full travel (check my wheel wells to confirm.)

My understanding is that Donahoe has made some minor changes to the valving of the Chubby's, but it is pretty easy to change the valving just a couple little set screws you turn, one for compression and one for rebound. So I wouldn't worry about getting one over the other.

Same exact thing. DR just "sets" (turn of adjustment screw) to their determined "best setting".
Better color however, and of course warranty... and of course the sheer joy of telling all you just got a set of chubbys
Thanks guys. I order a set of LR jounces - I'll get them installed next week.
I just didn't want to tell my friends that my truck shows off its chubbys
Come on Mark I now you want to talk to every one about the new chubby's you just got for the FJ.

Well I got into the river bad today, but ya there was water in it, who would have guessed. So I couldn't really test it out. O well, I will give it a week to let the river bed dry out a little and then try again next Sunday.
I did take it up Bee Canyon yesterday though and got to do a little trail riding. Not much high speed sections so I couldn't really push it to hard. But I did rattle a couple things loose.
