Congratulations! (you need to change your sig to say Kings shocks installed). Post up some pics when you have a chance.
Thanks, I install the kit with a Toyota suspension specialist and all the Toyota garage team was very impress by the King's kit for quality and design.
Kings also put harder spring for my heavy Warn bumper + winch and they preset the adjustment just at the right position. We install the kit and everything was perfect without adjustment.
Quality and precision are everywhere on King's kit.

I kinda thought you must work for King for all the time you put into your installation guide. Thanks for effort, it will be a great help when I put mine on. Do you have any photos that show what the increase in lift looks like?

I'd like to document all the changes I've made and it really didn't take that long to write up. Here's a sideview of the FJC with BFG All Terrain in 285/70R17. The front is about 1.75 inches higher than before; the rear is about .25 inches higher. Front alignment was not an issue using the stock UCAs. I'm still using the stock rear springs right now but just ordered a set of custom springs that will give 1 inch of lift.

Who did you get the rear coils from? Deaver, CSS..?
I went with CSS and talked to Kevin with my rear coil specs (I'm planning to add DeMello rear bumper so I need to upgrade the rear springs). Kevin quoted a price of ~$187 plus shipping and 20-25 days turn-around after receipt of order. The King rear shocks will accommodate rear springs with up to 2 inches of lift. I'll post update when I received these. BTW, I found your post on toyota120.com about Deaver and CSS and actually contacted Deaver first but never heard back from them.
Has anybody used the rear king shocks with longer rear springs like the donahoes. Were there any problems and what is the ride like because the kings are designed for stock springs.
Just swapped out the stock rear springs (P/N 48231-35320) for a pair of custom rear springs from Coil Spring Specialties that will provide one inch higher ride height this weekend. For comparison, the stock springs have a spring diameter of .59" with a free length of 14.75". The CSS springs have a spring diameter of .62" with a free length of 15.35". The CSS springs are approximately 8% stiffer (my request is for the rear springs to carry 150 lbs of cargo weight over the stock ones). So far, the ride quality has not changed appreciably. I only change the rear springs in anticipation of adding a steel rear bumper with swing out carriers. In order to maintain similar ride quality, I went with slightly longer and stiffer rear springs. also ask CSS to adjust the trim height on the left spring to correct the lean. Price for the pair is $187 and shipping is around $20; for comparison, the stock rear springs sell for $110 each from the dealer. Here are some contact info for CSS:

From what I've learned, CSS makes coil springs for Deaver. Also, before you order, it's a good idea to call the parts dept at your Toyota dealer to double check the stock springs P/N (give them your VIN).
PS. I got lucky and got my springs exactly two weeks after placing my order.

That's good advice. My custom rear springs are on order with Coil Spring Specialties.
JUST EXPECT TO WAIT FOR PERFECTION!!!!!
I was told to expect a 5 week turn-around. I know people who have waited more than 2 months. I'm sure it's worth it!
However..., I don't think you answered FJ Rob 's question. I'm still waiting for a response, or for someone to try it out.
