So excuse me for not knowing but is a setup like this ok for any jumping? if not what could? and is this a good all around system? does it do well for rocks/mud? and what to do if you want at least 3-6 inches of lift ?

I'd suggest you read up on Air2air's build-up for the proper way to set up an FJC for jumping. In order to absorb and dissipate the impacts from jumping, the shocks need to displace a large volume of hydraulic fluid in a controlled manner and not fade through larger piston and longer stroke. With a Long Travel suspension system such as the Total Chaos, the front shock stroke is iincreased to 8 inches compared to around 5.5 inches for most of the aftermarket coilover shocks. To prevent shock fade, most LT suspension uses multiple shocks at each corner. Plus, you'd need to weld the body to the frame.
The King suspension is geared toward desert/baja runs but does well rockcrawling as well. I can't give any feedback on performance on mud since we don't see much of that stuff in San Diego. The FJC's center of gravity is pretty high so I would not recommend going higher than a 3-inch lift. Any gain in ground clearance is not worth stressing the CV joints beyond their designed operating envelope (the lowest point would still be the rear differential since tires larger than 34" would also require a lot of clearancing). HTH.

Re: King suspension for the FJ Cruiser
Very nice kit but I just spent two weeks trying to get an asnwer on what the kit for a long travel suspension was and got no answer from King. Switched to my second choice, Fox, and had an answer from yesterday to today.
Ah well, maybe they will make it to my rear suspension at least.

I think I missed it, but who would be a good vendor to contact for King goodies? Or do I just contact King directly?
Thx
Sunman here on the forum sales them he will get you the best price. Or you can call King up.

I think Downsouth Motorsports sells King shocks but I'd recommend dealing with King directly since the discount if any is very small. Mike Eads @ King is the guy to talk to.
Cool. Talked to Reed at the Pomona Expo; he seems very helpful. So, you ordered the rear reservoir mounts? How much if I may ask?
$150 for the pair which is very pricey to be honest, but I don't feel like messing around and having some fabbed. They don't really sell them seperate, so I guess they charged me extra for a special order.
