I plan on getting the ARB bumper and warn winch with the 886 up front. I plan on keeping the stock rear bumper for now, but plan on upgrading to an aftermarket one in the future. Don't really plan on towing anything. Is it worth getting the 896 in the rear, or will I be ok with the 895 in the rear and the aftermarket bumper in the future? Thanks
In the back you could probably go either way. Depends on how long until you get the rear bumper. If it's going to be shortly get the heavier springs, because the bumper, larger tires, camping gear, jerry cans, etc add up in weight pretty quick. If it's going to be a year or two the softer springs might be the ticket. They're pretty cheap to change out anyway.

Re: OME before & after pics

Another question, sorry if it has been covered before. Does the OME kit level the FJ front to back? Does it matter what springs I get; I now I'll get 886 in front, deciding between 895 and 896 in back. Thanks

Re: OME before & after pics

The OME kits maintain the factory rake, slightly higher in the rear. That way the vehicle is not nose up when loaded. If you absolutely had to have the vehicle level you could use the OME rears and go with the Camburg or Icon adjustable coil overs in the front. Or use the Camburg or Icon suspension all the way around. We stock all three systems. If you want to discuss different options give Jacque or me a call at the number below.

Thanks,
Gerone

For everyone else's information, it was Toyota of Dallas (Jacque / Gerome) that I purchased my OME 886/896 suspension kit from that's illustrated in this thread.

Excellent and prompt service, including the patience to deal with a number of my questions prior to my purchase. Good folks there. (And, good price.)

x2 OME is not a leveling kit. Running the adjustables upfront would be your best bet if having a level ride is a big concern. This way, no matter what you decide to run up front, bumper and winch wise, you will have a level vehicle.

The guys at trdparts4u were a pleasure to do business with as well.
