Sounds like what you want is a plush ride through the rough stuff. If I were in your situation, the Kings setup like what TCao has sounds like the ticket. I'm sure the AllPros (on paper) would do fine there, but the Kings shocks are designed for that kind of surface you mentioned. btw, Shouldn't your FJ have a snorkel?

15 clicks is fine. He said any more and the valves are closed. Not sure why he said 16-19 initially. But yeah, I need to get that one that clicks only 4 times fixed ASAP.

I would like to keep the smoothness as much as possible but a little more stiffness is not out of the question.
King's, huh? Haven't considered or researched that yet. Who's the vendor's here?
And we're trying to find someone to build an 18,000 ft snorkel. No easy task.

I'm not sure if any vendors here sell Kings. They are a little more pricy, but TCao is very happy with them. Shoot him an email for more details. Very well made shocks.

Terry initially told me 16-19 clicks. I guess I'd be scared too if I were you .
In SoCal, we're trying to get a comprehensive suspension test together. We're not getting any takers from owners with Donahoe suspension (wonder why) to join in the test. Now that I have a AllPros I'll push to have this test done soon. Should be fun. I'll try and get a good write up. There's a lot of interest in this so I think it'll be beneficial. It won't be as comprehensive as we'd like, but at least we'll compare the AllPro, OME, and stock.
