Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!

cnynrat- There are a few things to add to that spread sheet you have.+
1- Fox 2.5" Dia- include sway bar relocation on the reservoir mount
2-OME's have 3 different setups
Fronts use:884 (light) 885 (medium) 886 (heavy) all use N140S shocks
Rear use: 885 (medium) w/N141 Shocks, and 886 (heavy) w/N142 Shocks

Jeshua has done a compression comparison on all the coils for you!rear spring comparison
You have great ideas in breaking down all the aspects of the manufactures shocks. A little more research and you will have an EXCELLENT comprehensive guide for all to follow! Nice Start! Soon to be a sticky I'm sure!

Someone out there has done a compression comparison (maybe Jeshua) on all the coils for you!

My comparison is just of the rear springs but I could probably find the front coil spring rates.

YeYeAh! I think this info would be even better than the current Lift Comparison....a lot more comprehensive! Nice work by the way!

Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!

ReadyLIFT out of Costa Mesa CA does a Leveling kit for the FJs. They got ahold of me from a friend of a friend and asked to borrow mine to do some R&D. They had been getting some complaints that when the gas tank is full or a substantial amount of cargo is in the rear, their leveling kit makes the front end too high. So they are prototyping a system for the rear end this week. And they told me they might look into a final lift of 3.5-4 inches. I'll get the first one they produce and be sure to post pics and to let everyone know what I think of it.

I'm not sure what their full system (front and rear lift) will retail for, but their 2.5" front end leveling system retails for around $250.

I didn't see anything on their systems on this thread has anyone used them?

They are a good group of guys. I hope their lift works good!

Which suspension is an all around kit to go with? I don’t know which to get for my FJ. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also might want to change Donahoe's name to Icon Vehicle Dynamics

Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!

Ok guys time for some updates to this thing!
  • Donahoe needs to be changed to Icon Vehicle Dynamics
  • And Radflo needs to be added to the list. I do believe Radflo has 2 or 3 options (2.0, 2.5 & 2.5 W/ remote reservoir)
Pic of there 2.0" front coil over

Pic of 2.5" rear shock

Who's in charge of this thing?
