Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!
Josh, I think we need to send a PM to the Moderators for any action.
I agree, this one is tarting to get long in the tooth. It would be nice if it was like a WIKI where everyone could contribute and help keep it up to date.
Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!
Some updates done. Next time PM me for changes to be made. Thanks Jeshua for linking to pictures. This forum has gotten so big that it is getting really tough to keep up with all the threads. So in the future PM me, or use the report this post link, so that all mods can get the message.
Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!
Great post everyone.
I am in the market for a lift for my 07 FJC and my local dealer and off road shop keep recomending me the 6 inch pro comp lift. They are telling me that all the geomatry will stay the same with it unlike a 3 inch lift. When I was at the shop and he showed me what he was talking about it made sense but I am new to 4x4 mods and would like to get some feed back from everyone. Also if any of you have this lift can you please let me know how you like it.
thanks
Richie
Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!
I assume that it is Four Wheel Parts that you are talking about because they make pro-comp and would be the only one it the world suggesting that for your rig. I would seriously consider finding somewhere (anywhere) else to take your rig.
Look around this forum a lot and I'm sure you can find something. Be specific in your requirements. How much you want to spend, what you are going to use it for (mall crawling/looks, mud, rocks, fast desert, etc.). Seriously stay away from Four Wheel Parts though, there have been many o' hack jobs that have come from there.
My suggestion would be one of the coilover options, King, Icon, Fox etc., but w/o knowing what you want it for will be hard to suggest anything, especially with something so costly.
Re: Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!
fabtech also offers a 6"..if i understand it, and i dont always do, pro comps is a 5 1/2, not a true 6...as far as 4wheel parts......ive NEVER had a good exp, but thats just me. you can get the coil overs with the fabtech...ive had 0 complaints with mine, and i went with their 2.5 dirt logics..
