OME 886s vs 3" spacer vs Toytec 3"

I have a TRD SE and I'm adding a bumper and winch on the front. I'm looking to raise my FJ a little to move up to some 285s. Which route would you guys go. Either way I go is around $150 in parts and will net me about 2.5" of lift. I'm going to put some Daystar 1.5" spacers in the rear to keep it close to level while retaining my rear TRD springs.

OME 886s ("Heavy" or "Extra Heavy Duty" Coils depending on where you read)
3+" spring, most guys say they get >2.5" after they settle due to weight of bumper/winch

Pros-
Spring rate is better matched the the weight of the vehicle with bumper/winch.

Cons-
Puts the front struts at the top end of their travel (limits droop)

3" top spacer
3" spacer on top of strut

Pros-
Keeps stock springs in the center of travel on strut so uptravel/downtravel is balanced
Allows me to retain my bling TRD springs

Cons-
Weight of winch and bumper will cause stock springs to sag ~1/2"
Some say a 3" top spacer allows for too much suspension droop which may lead to part failure

3" Toytec spacer
2.5" Spacer in the strut and a 1/2" top mount spacer

Pros-
Allows me to retain my bling TRD springs
Allows for 1/2" more droop than OME since strut is mounted 1/2" lower

Cons-
Weight of winch and bumper will cause stock springs to sag ~1/2"
Still limits droop

Which way should I go?

Re: OME 886s vs 3" spacer vs Toytec 3"

OME Medium, that's what I did and LOVE it!

The only difference between the OME Med. & Firm lift is the actual height of the spring, the spring rates are the exact same. I don't need the additional height or caster issues so I went with the Mediums, me likey a lot!

I put the ARB bumper on before the lift and you don't want to use spacers the ride sucked and the body roll was terrible. I bought the OME Med lift from Mark at MetalTech, those guys are awesome!

Re: OME 886s vs 3" spacer vs Toytec 3"

I'm refferring to the 886s that are actually the heavy or "extra heavy duty" (4runner guys refer to 885s as heavy). The 885s are the medium they are a little stiffer 590 vs 660

885
free height : 395mm
diameter : 17mm
rate : 590lbs/in

886
free height: 402mm
diameter: 18mm
rate: 660lbs/in
