OME Install-No Issues

Had local Toyota dealer install OME heavy front, medium rears last week. Thanks for tips from LandCruiser Steve concerning front spring indexing and trim packer ring, so far no problems or strange noises. Haven't been off-road yet but did take some speed bumps at higher than normal speed without effect. Front is slightly higher than rear but after I add bumper should be level.

Re: OME Install-No Issues

Ken, I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of posting up the pics of your OME-lifted FJ that you emailed me. (Just to warn you, if you you don't satisfy our "Cruiser porn" addiction immediately after you've done a mod or something, a lynch mob forms very quickly. )

Re: OME Install-No Issues

I decided to go with the OME setup myself. I had the complete Fox setup on order from All Pro but did not like what I was reading about it and the other little problems with the other coilover setups. I have not heard anything bad about shocks leaking or springs breaking on the OME setup. Plus it left me some cash for a Winch...Sweet.
