Heavy Duty front swaybar links

These are off a 2wd 05' 4runner but they look like they'd work on the FJ. 4" Lift Spindle 2005 Tacoma

I contacted them to get some more info.

It's for a prerunner. It states "will not work with any 4wd system". Don't see how it will work for us, at least for us with 4wd.

they mean for the spindles, not the swaybar links.

Re: Heavy Duty front swaybar links

Well, although it's pretty, that link is something you can make yourself at the hardware store. 2 heim joints, threaded rod, and 2 nuts. Maybe some powdercoating....but they look nice!

I was excited about new spindles....too bad they are not for 4x4's. New spindles allow more lift/travel with less problems, since they usually correct geometry to a point.

I like to see anything new that is stronger.

If you can make those links, I'll buy em' off you! But seriously, the reason I'd like some beafier links is beacause people have been snapping them causing the CV boot to get shredded. I'd hate for that to happen on the trail.

Re: Heavy Duty front swaybar links

wow...good point. I forgot that there was a problem there. Did you get a response from the company that has them?

Seems like a link such as that (sway bar) would be a great, cheap, easy thing that most aftermarket companies would be all over. I wonder why there are not more people building stronger links like that? Seems like something DR or AP would have already come out with....like the lower rear links that taco easily.

Thumbs up Re: Heavy Duty front swaybar links

excellent. They're adjustable so hopefully they should work. Did you compare the lengths?

Thats correct Brent - we have the prototypes done and a production run started, hopefully we will have units to ship by the end of this week. Pics to come.
