Frogeye-

Bent and broken are two different things. Please consider changing the poll to reflect broken links and I'll vote.

3 broken links.

Passenger side only.

DO coilovers ft. OME mediums rr.

2 broken while running 30-60mph in sandy wash conditions.

3rd broken while running heavy whoops at Cleghorn.

Installed AP US links which held up well through 250 miles of moderate to heavy off-road use.

Passenger side axle broken near Pala casino Sunday night. Could this be due to the new strength of the AP links?

Scott

apht miles out sie axle
Scott, Bent Broken, the links took some serious impact to one side or the other. Just vote Please.

What the heck were you doing out near Pala when the axle broke?

WTF?! Now what? Seems like every week there is something going wrong with some rigs? I'm half scared to not mod anything on my FJ.

Don't be scared. I bet some of the people that are bentding/breaking links have some heavy arse foots and at times forget that they are driving a 5,000 lb SUV not a 300lb ATV!

Re: The Bent/Broken Link Poll

I haven't bent/broken an OEM link, but had the problem with the Ultimate Sway Bar Links (as most of you know).

Running Donahoe suspension.

This isn't really the same as the body rips issue where it can happen on vehicles that never go off road.

Larry, we know =). Thank you for voting it all counts. I still stand behind my belief that it doesn't matter what link you are running, so please just vote.

Re: The Bent/Broken Link Poll

Yeah I had the driver side ball part pull out on the Rubicon and the sway bar dropped into the CV Boot and it got chewed up. By consensus I disconected the passenger side and tied the sway bar up but not far enough.... I lost that boot also.... So I just took the sway bar off and finished the trail and drove back home to Ukiah about 150 miles without any problems and did not notice it missing..... I think I will remove it on the major trails I will do in the future... I want to put on the new AllPro replacements but have to talk them today.
I guess there are problems with every option out there.....

How could he vote? He didn't break or bend the "stock" links. Vote if you been bending or breaking links-stock or AllPro? I ask because FJCruiser123, Savvyav, and Uphill have had issues too.
