I 've seen where the sway-a-ways are rusting, I have Hoes and haven't had any problems, they are a bit exspensive.

I think the best thing is for you to wheel your rig "as is" for a while and so you can find out just exactly what you need. I would suggest armor protection before suspension. Skids and rock rails are always a welcomed addition when you go on a trail. You may find your stock suspension adequate for the driving style you have.

Re: so its time to upgrade.....

well, i dont drive much but i do go offroading in weekends, i already got the OEM skid plates & OEM rock rails.....(didnt mount them yet though... )

it seems that for the price of the front coilovers...i can get the 6" RC lift.....just so confusing....

my offroading is more hard trails and technical than high speeds....especialy with the annoying stability CTRL i cant cancel

Re: so its time to upgrade.....

The 6" lifts in my opinion are junk. (sorry to those of you that have them just my opinion) You will get a better rid and performance from one of the "coilover" lifts. The OME's aren't a bad option but they will not have a nice of a ride as some of the other options.

Here is a list of what I feel are good lifts, from this you need to look at price and options to see what you feel would work best with your needs and cost.

King
Donahoe Racing
Fox
Sway-A-Way (Racerunners/camburg)
Walker Evans
I think thats all of them.

I have DR's and love them, If you have more specific questions post them up.

Re: so its time to upgrade.....

I agree with fjamming I wheel my fj with stock suspension. I've done berdo canyon, otay mtn., joshua tree, pismo, etc.. eventually I will go with the ome setup later down the line...this way I know exactly what I will need too approve on, other wise it is a very capable vehicle in its stock form...
