Ome Clocking

Will improper clocking damage anything? I don't think my drivers side is clocked properly. There is no clunking or weird noises, just curious as to if it will damage anything.

it will rub on the sway bar, you need to fix it

Yes, it is best to get them clocked correctly. However, if it isn't rubbing, you may be one of the lucky ones and not need to worry about it. There are others that have incorrectly clocked springs that don't have any rubbing issues with the front swaybar.

In any case, if you had this done at a shop, I would take it back and request them to clock them correctly. And, its not just for the OME springs, it is for all springs including the stock ones...

Yes. With the bottom tip/end of the spring facing the rear of the vehicle. (The 6 o'clock position.)

Sheesh. I don't have any issues, but now I have to go out and check! Was so worn out by the end of the install that I never even thought about it...

I didn't read about this clocking stuff until after we unstalled it.....crap.

Since we just started Daylight Savings Time, I had to re-clock mine ahead to the 7 o'clock position.
