This is correct, we now have coil overs available for the RC 6" lift. Please contact me for details.

Re: Radflo Shocks for RC 6inch.

I highly recommend Glenn at Radflo. I got some custom sliders for my Fox coilovers from him a while back. Excellent, fast service. Great guy to do business with!

Re: Radflo Shocks for RC 6inch.

The specs of the shocks are as follows:

Radflo 2.0 coil over housing
7/8 Nitrosteel shaft (excellent corrosion resistance)
Billet top mount with mounting hardware.
Teflon lined spherical bearings
650 lbs/in spring (as per RC)

Please contact me directly if you have any specific questions or for pricing.

Glenn

Negative. You're correct on the rear, that all you need is a new set of shocks, springs, and trackbar. It's easy to do the rear because it's a solid axle. The front is a different animal all together, being IFS.

If you were to put a set of coilovers up front long enough to give you 6" of lift, your CVs wouldn't last a minute as the angle would be way too severe. This is why 6" lift kits of the Rough Country/FabTech/ProComp come with extended knuckles, and the necessary hardware to drop your front diff a few inches, which in turn gives you CV angles nearly identical to that of stock (varying of course with the different kits).

The Rough Country base model 6" lift doesn't replace the front coilovers, just adds a strut extension spacer on top of the OEM coilovers. As far as I know, these radflo coilovers are meant to be put in place of the stock coilovers AND strut extension. However, I may be wrong and the extension spacer may still be required to get the full lift.

Anyone care to clarify that?

But bottom line, no, you can't get a 6" lift by doing just coilovers in front. You MUST drop the diff and you MUST install new knuckles.

Re: Radflo Shocks for RC 6inch.

My bumper weighed the FJ down a tad. I need new shocks in my top 3 most needed mods.

Re: Radflo Shocks for RC 6inch.

These shocks are designed to replace the stock strut and the spacer.

On any coil over lift, you will only get a maximum of 3" of lift as you will run into problems with the cv joints binding and the boots tearing.

How is it replacing the spacer? It would have to be a larger coilover seeing as the spacer is 5inches.
