Re: Readylift 2.25 front leveling kit.....

I used the Readylift insrtuctions to install my level lift. I bought the aluminum spacer off a member here. I believe there is one step that is not correct. I can't remember which one it is.

I have one and the instrustions are pretty right on. You do need to do the disconnect where it says not to, I believe its on the control arm but without ging back and reading it I wouldnt be able to say for sure. If you have the proper tools and you have done some of this before you should be good to go.

Good luck and post some pics

Re: Readylift 2.25 front leveling kit.....

I love the look and you cant tell the difference in the ride. I drive too much to go with bigger tires, by that I mean I dont want to pay at the pump every three days. My friend went with 285s and he does not get the same mileage I get, luv the look though.

You will need to lower your headlights! I did the readylift and put Piaa bulbs in and even after lowering I get highbeamed.

I bought my kit directly from readylift and got my free t-shirt, great company to deal with.

I put a similar kit and 285s on two weeks ago and I am really happy with it. I am really close to the body mounts, but no rubbing on or off road (so far). I would be careful with true 33s (they are a little bigger than 285s), because I think you would get into rubbing if you didnt chop the body mount.

As far as Firestone goes - I am taking mine in for the 3rd time today to try to get the alignment right. They can't seem to get my steering wheel back to center. Probably not a problem at all the Firestones, might just be bad luck.
