Re: Taira gets Digger Links

I would have posted here earlier..but since I haven't had any issues, I haven't needed to! Mine are doing just great. No problems, and when comparing old & new, CLEARLY these are superior, and I expect they'll last as long as the rig does (if not longer!).

I've atempted in every way (that I can afford, anyway) to provide extra insurance against failures - i.e., budbuilts, digger links, various front suspension mods, TC CV boot guards, along with carrying as much "on the trail" fixit stuff as I can reasonably manage without towing a complete machine shop/welding unit/plasma cutter/CNC machine & spare part inventory behind me everywhere...these links are, I think, a pretty decent addition to my (mechanical) insurance policy.

They won't help with stupidity (I got plenty of that), but in terms of the objects themselves, they're bomber.

Hey Digger... tried to send you a PM but your box was reported as full. I see it's been a while since you posted. You around anymore?

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

He is still around. I sent him a PM a couple of days ago for two sets. Anxiously awaiting them now!!!!

Anybody have any tips for getting the uppers on with out too much pain. As I understand, the driver's side can be frustrating because of the fuel tank. Is that correct?

A small box wrench, take your watch off, get comfortable sitting under there, and be patient. You can reach it.

Or a six pack, a wrench, and a friend with small hands!!!!

Actually, something about that sounds wrong.

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

Don't forget to go back a couple of days later and retighten ESPECIALLY that one, because that one is the most likely to not get torqued down enough due to the leverage angle you need to work with.

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

Man,

These look awesome indeed...that side wall comparison was downright shocking. How much is the cost again?

Thanks,

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

Don't think i've seen a more pristine underside...do you even take that thing out in bad weather, much less off-road?
