Taira gets Digger Links

Well since day one of the FJC's release it's been known that the rear lower control arms on the FJ are prone to bending in offroad situations, and are indeed, a weak link . Today I swapped mine out for the very beefy "Digger Links" made by Not-His-FJ . (AKA Chris and Charity, links made by Chris)

Here is the stock LCA
..........and a Digger link

......

The Digger link has a bit smaller diameter. So what's the difference?

.
.
.
.

1/4" Wall DOM tube

These babies are not going to bend

.

...and the upper links for the rear? Just sick when compared to the OEM toothpicks

The stock bushings are used in these.

Finished product

Thanks very much Chris, for making these and for helping out your fellow FJ'ers.

Thanks.

See now, I would have thought somebody would have commented on the rusty shock, not my artistic plastic skiddy

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

The oem upper link tube would fit inside the replacement uppper link tube.

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

Tough!

After seeing these fitted at the tech day, I knew I NEEDed some.

Bill must have thought the same. It made my mind up when the uppers came off.

Re: Taira gets Digger Links

These links look very beefy and well made and no worries about squeaky joints since the factory rubber bushings are re-used. Don't forget to check the nuts after a few hundred miles.
