Re: 3" lift on its way!!!

I really like mine. Rides and handles great. The one thing is that to me the front seems just a bit too high. I do plan on a new front bumper some day, so it may drop just a bit. Then when I load all my gear in back I do notice the rear squat a bit. At night people flash their brights at me when loaded. Going to take it out on a run next weekend in Moab. This will be its first time on the trail after the lift. I am stoked!

Re: 3" lift on its way!!!

I love my Toytec! Had it for several thousand miles at this point. The front end does sit higher than stock. I learned pretty quickly that a headlight adjustment would be in order by the number of people flashing their highbeams at me. All is well after appropriate adjustment.

Re: 3" lift on its way!!!

I was wondering the same.

I just bought a ToyTec lift as well. But I went with the medium/meduim because I wanted the rear a bit higher than the front and I read that most with this set-up were pleased.
ToyTec tried to sell me what you bought. So I'm curious to see what folks here are saying.
My first purchase from ToyTec were the 883 coils for the front which I love, but want a bit more lift.

Re: 3" lift on its way!!!

Interesting and a bit mis-leading..... You would think that the front would sit a little lower than the rear.... because of the motor weight. I will have to call doug and ask him about this.

Please let me know how it performs at Moab. Since I live in Wyoming that is one of many stops. Strange though cause there are some awsome trails in Wyoming...

Re: 3" lift on its way!!!

Please post info on lift when you get it & install. Are you installing it yourself?
If not,How much do you expect to pay for install? I'll be ordering FJ3-RCC or the cheapest FJ3-FRC,$$ is close w/tire purch.
