Did you see the All-Pro setup Jon-B is running ?...
You may want to talk to him on it, I believe it is
from currie ?... But hhe also just did a SAS on his
FJ and also replaced the rear with a d60 and new
sway bar around the back...
I installed a Currie Anti-Rock sway bar on the rear and I do not run a front sway bar. In order to cure your body roll issue you need to do three things to start with. The spring rates and valving need to be correct to start with otherwise the sway bar will do very little to help the body roll. IMO nailing the valving on the shocks is by far the most important thing and must be addressed before your FJC will ever ride right.
My suggestion would be to...
1.) Figure out the weight of your FJC front and rear. (Mine is 5140 total, 2820 front, 2320 rear -- yours should be close, but probably a little lighter)
2.) Determine approximate unsprung weight and then determine if the spring rate of the spring that you installed is enough to carry the weight of your FJC. If the springs are not the right springs, get the right springs installed.
3.) Check the valving on your shocks (hopefully they are rebuild-able shocks and you can change the valving setup in them). IIRC you used the Walker Evans shock. You need to figure out the compression and rebound valving so you know your starting point. Are your shocks the WE's shocks that go on the Tacoma's because those are going to be valved way soft for the weight of the FJC?
4.) Talk with the folks are WE about valving rates that they recommend based on the weight of your vehicle. They should be able to give you a good starting point for the compression and rebound valving. I would bet that you need to increase the rebound considerably on all 4 corners to take care of the body roll. Then order up the shims and find someone to re-valve the shocks for you. More then likely WE will do it if you ship your shocks to them.
