Advice on a quality mild lift

I just bought a 2007 Fj, I installed a set of 180-70-17's on stock rims with no rub. I would like to 1) Upgrade the suspension 2) just level the front with the back. All help is appreciated

180-70-17???

Look at the complete lift comparison thread. Make your decision based on needs and budget.

2 choices, OME, true and tried(or another brand spring lift) or go all out with adjustable coilovers. many brands come to mind although pricey. Walker evans, donohoe/Icon, King, sway a way,etc

Re: Advice on a quality mild lift

I'm ordering the Toytec 3" spacer W/custom stock ride rear springs( $360.00) with shipping kind of middle of the road Toytec has 4 different ver. of 3" lifts. 1-spacer's in front, med load springs rear Part #FJ3-SK $270+30 ship.
2-spacer front, custom "stock ride" springs rear Part#FJ3-RCC$329+30 ship.
3-Front lift coil springs, med. load rear springs #FJ3-FRC $360+35 ship.
4-Front lift coil springs, custon "stock ride" springs rear #FJ3-FRCC $419.99+35 ship. I'm going W/ #2 for $$ reason, dropping $900 on BFG 285/70/17's.I spoke to tech guy at Toytec & the lift's are basicly the same lift hight but increase in ride Quality, although he said I'll be very happy with the #2

spacers are like installing oranges for breast implants. not much benifit other than looks and most likely will degrade over time. for a couple bucks more you could have something alot nicer.

Re: Advice on a quality mild lift

I would recommend an adjustable coilover lift for the front.

Re: Advice on a quality mild lift

My Daystar spacer lift was $250 installed and I have no problems with it. Perfect.

if all you want to do is to level the front with the back, then either get a spacer kit for the front or the OME light, OME883 i believe. most all the coilover lifts will make your front higher than the rear if you don't change the rear suspension as well.
