Warn bumper/winch and OME install

Hey folks just wondering. Getting set to install the Warn front bumper and Powerplant hd on the FJ. Have the OME heavy setup sitting here, to be put on as well. 886 and 895 shocks. N140s and N141 springs. I don't really want to lift the rear. Just kind of level it out for now. Just curious if anyone thinks it may be a problem to use the OME rear shocks with the original rear springs? Until I decide if I want to install them later on down the road. Has anyone tried using this type of setup without any problems?
Thanks for any info in advance.

Not sure, but I think the OME rear shocks are longer than the stock ones.

but, not by much, we're talking well less than an inch.

one could always go with the Eibach rear springs if they don't want much of a lift.

if you get the 886s, you will want to raise up the rear a bit, for a true level.

Re: Warn bumper/winch and OME install

Thanks for the help folks. I'll probably go with the new OME rear springs too. After getting the front bumper on today. I still down the road want to add the rear of course. Without mix and matching parts.Since I already have the rear springs. Thought about just the shocks for a temporary thing till I get the rear bumper.

Re: Warn bumper/winch and OME install

I don't know much about that lift kit but the bumper and winch will drop the front down almost an inch from stock. I used a different lift and suspension kit and did both front and rear as well as the warn rear bumper. Just a note: when installing the front bumper make sure that the brackets do not touch the body or you will develope a squeak when driving over bumps. I had to remove everything after several months of ignoring it and grind the top of the brackets down so they didn't touch and now it is quiet......

Re: Warn bumper/winch and OME install

I think youll like the setup. I just had the warn frt and rear bumpers with a warn m8000 winch and the 3inch ome lift done. It looks sweet.Frt end is a little heavy now , but I love it.
