Re: saw suspensions

I have the SAW suspension and I really like it. There are a lot of great suspensions on the market today. I would talk to Mark at Metal Tech and he can give you all the info you seek on the SAW suspension. Scroll down to the vendor list and you will find Metal Tech. Good luck with your suspension. chris

Swaybar relocation spacer I believe. Should be included.

Heard it rides nice.

Re: saw suspensions

I have a SAW setup. All the parts rusted after one winter in Colorado (the kit is 11 months old). They are going to remanufacture the coilovers and shocks for me, but at my expense - I have to remove everything and leave the FJ on a lift while the parts are out.

I wouldn't buy from them again. There are too many other vendors out there (like Donahoe). Just my $0.02. Good luck.

Re: saw suspensions

It's a great kit, but make sure you get installed by someone who knows how to do it right, like Mark at Metal Tech, or do it yourself with his help. No matter what you do, do NOT let 4 Wheel Parts install it for you (you may buy it from them at a discount with the proper haggling). Demello is having a SAW complete kit sale for $1400, and if I were you, I'd grab this deal.

It took me 3-4 months to get my SAW kit setup right, and when it was done right, the suspension showed its true talents. Just beware that it will be a little stiff on the asphalt when you go over bumps/potholes, but it is a small price to pay in return for all the performance benefits.

So far no rust on my kit, but I live in San Diego, a relatively dry and salt-free environment. Perhaps more SAW kit owners will chime in on this issue.
