I was thinking about a 3 inch lift?

Ive heard alot about different brands what i would like to see is pictures of 3 inch lifts on fjs. Also i bought my firestone mts and i really dont want to buy new tires nor do i have the extra money too. Will my fj look really dumb and wierd with my tire size with the 3 inch lift?

Ive heard spacer lift is cheap and easy but i really only want to do this once. Manly looking to get the undercarriage off the ground alittle bit. diffs are fine in my eyes because i dont do a ton of hardcore rock crawling.

Re: I was thinking about a 3 inch lift?

I have the Old man emu lift with 885's in front and I couldn't have been more pleased with the ride both on and off road. Better handling and stability, far superior to stock. I ran stock tires with my lift for about a year and nobody said the tires looked too small, besides, who cares what other people think? Your opinion is what matters! Tim

Not an "extreme/hard-core" off-roader?? Then look into a Rough Country 3 inch lift. Sounds like it is perfect for you. I have one.......just havent installed it yet. Did LOTS of research before I pulled the trigger. Do some homework (searches)

X2 I installed my RC lift and the kit is great truck handles and rides exactly like stock. I couldn't be happier with the kit or the price also RC has excellent customer service and are just a phone call away if you have questions, unlike Toytec where everything is e-mails. Your choice but if I was lifting my truck again I go RC again. Also Ben is a member here and gives discounts to forum members.
