Tony's Lift Pictures

Here are the pictures of TonysBlueFJ's new lift.

The Lift kit is laid out for the mechanic.

Up on the rack with the tires removed.

Skid plates and front sway bar has been removed.

Front spring/strut before removal.

Look!!! No spring/strut!!!

Spring/strut before the hard part.

Hey! This isn't so hard! Really, having the right tools make compressing these springs easy!! Oh, did I mention much safer too!

Longer studs installed into the top plate.

Reassembling the spring/strut package. Did I mention how easy thes guys made this look??

Spring/strut ready to be installed.

Front install is complete.

Getting ready to do the back.

After unbolting the rear sway bar the rear springs come right out.

Yea sometimes I have to be right there...

A little dead weight at the end of the axle makes it easer to get the taller springs into the seats.

New Pro Comp shocks complete the rear install.

Everything is back together and we are over on the alignment rack.

Home at last!! The front has settled a bit and should come downt a little I install a bumper.

We would like to thank Jeff (service Manager) , Rich (Service Tech), John (Alignment Tech) at Stevenson East for letting us in to take the pictures and for the great job the did on the install!!

Re: Tony's Lift Pictures

Oh man looks great. The steelies look so good on a voodoo blue. Why did you op for the pro comp rear shocks as opposed to the OME shocks all around?

What tires are those?

Re: Tony's Lift Pictures

Doug over at Toytec suggested the ProComp over the OME. The tires are the Big Foot 33x12.5x17.
