Question OME lift question??

Ok. I need help.

I'm planning to buy in 2 weeks my OME lift finally. I was doing some research on price and what the kit should have before buying it.

So, my plan is to get the 885/895 with the N140S/N141 but I found out that is an extra piece the OMEN95PF5 FRONT TRIM PACKER in some kits. Now my question is this piece is really necesary?? I should add that on the kit definitely? or any kit I buy should come with it?

An extra question to be sure 100% is the 885/895 with the N140S/N141 set up is the perfect choice if I'm not planning to install any time soon a Bull Bar? (I'll be out of money for more mods after the OME and tires jeje but the bull bar definitely is on my list).......I did research about it here on the forum but I want to make sure. I know DRAGON use this setup and doesn't have a front bumper.

Well, hope you can help thanks!!

The trim packer is a 5mm plate that goes under the coil seat on the drivers side strut. This is designed to eliminate/reduce the driver's side lean that is due to the gas tank, driver, battery etc... increasing the driver side weight on the vehicle. I did install this and thus far am happy with the results. Some people have actually added two trim packers. I would recommend getting the trim packer as it doesn't hurt anything and helps to level the vehicle from side to side. As for the 885/895 combination, I think that will suit you very well without a winch and winchbumper

Re: OME lift question??

I was wondering the same as you with all the different components and setups possible... I ended up going to Toy Tec and getting one of their lift kits with OME springs...the Med and Med set....and they have them all packaged for different setups and such.

installed mine today and it was outstanding and worth every penny...

Re: OME lift question??

Orlando Craigslist has a set for sale new in the box. It is listed for $700 but you can try to barter. Toyota of Dallas sold me mine and was a great deal.
