ALL of the c/o's rust if you live in an environment where there's a lot of water, humidity or salt air. It's part of the design. The slider assembly travels along the shock body and will eventually eat through WHATEVER coating the company puts on it. No, before anyone asks, they don't have AL bodies, they are steel.

I'm running ICON's, NO Leaks, they squeeked alittle when new like all coilovers. I love my ICON's.

Almost 8 months and 20k miles on Fox and King 2.5 bypass shocks and no leaks or rust or anything yet.
