Rough Country 6" - Old Man Emu Integration Possible?

Hey everyone -

Despite the fact that I can barely fit into my apartments parking garage with my 3" + 33" tire'd FJ, I'm thinking of ditching the stock roof-rack and getting into the Rough Country 6" lift.

My only concern is that I'd essentially be trading out the better riding OME suspension system I'm currently running for, what would essentially be, my stock front suspension setup in a different position.

Of course, seeing Matt's fox/rough country integration got me to thinking that maybe, somehow, I could get my OME coilovers into the setup to maintain the performance boost on top of the extra lift.

I am just curious as to whether any of the more suspension inclined folks out there can offer me some insight as to whether this is something that I could do or not. If so, what would be involved in adapting the two systems?

Thanks!

Re: Rough Country 6" - Old Man Emu Integration Possible?

I've already talked to RC about this cause I want to maintain my towing ability. I currently have HD front/rear. You can! The only thing they stressed is that you would loss some of your (about to get myself into trouble) off road ability. They didn't say articulation but they used another term but I still noob at this so its best to call them and they can explain it better. I believe it was something to do with your ability to extend the strut. There is a company that makes a 2" spacer, cheap. Here's the site: FJ LIFT

EDIT: They said not to go over 2" for the spacer or it could damage the CV boot. Also they told me that I wouldn't gain anything by staying with the OME, not sure I believed it but it made me "FOR NOW" re-install the stocks and will either go to radflo or try the OME w/spacer..
