Re: How much should it cost for a 3" lift?

My first one was a Rough Country and it was $349. I installed it myself.

I recently replaced the front spacers with Camburg adjustable coilovers and Upper Control Arms. The new front suspension sells for about $1500. I left the rear Rough Country for now. I needed the better front suspension since I added an aftermarket bumper and winch.

Wide open question, so:

Do you want spacers? Better coils and shocks like an OME? Coilovers like Icon's or Walker Evans?

Do you plan to do it yourself?

FJoel is right, you will have to narrow it down a little. Check this out Complete lift listing and comparison, they're all here!

One millllion dollars.

It depends on what you get. I shelled out 2k for mine, but that's what I wanted (I didn't actually want to shell out the 2k, I just wanted the stuff).

You can do it on the cheap, and still get a really good suspension.

I would like my FJ to ride just like the stock suspension, so I'm assuming OME?
And I don't have a spring compressor, so I'll probably have someone install this.

OME is a good suspension, especially for the price. You still need to decide what springs (heavy, medium) you want. This will depend on the types of Mods you are doing. (Front bumper, winch, ect.) Make sure you do your homework before you buy!!! Search "OME Suspension" you will have plenty of reading to do.
