I would like to get opinons on why its bad for rc to have spacers, do they not help the performance at all. They do lift the rig right. Also thinking toytec, or ome but thats alittle pricey.
Basic needs
1. Lift 3 inches.
2. Reliability for a long time with no problems, for light to mild wheeling, mostly snow mud and water crossings and light hill climbs.
3. Needs to be within budget.
Also pictures and suggestions would be appreciated also if you have a certain lift please explain if you had any problems and how long you had it how much and etc...

Not trying to be a pain here, but there are probably dozens of threads on this forum that have delved into this topic in great detail if you are willing to search them out...
Some basic points to ponder -
Any time you use spacers to add larger, heavier tires to original springs and shocks, you are adding additional stress those components were not designed to handle. They will fatigue faster, which will eventually cost you more money to restore the vehicle back to its modified height.
The performance will be the same as stock or worse (do to fatigue). spacers do nothing to upgrade the performance of the suspension, they only give you room to add larger tires. Stock shocks are valved for the lighter stock size, and will not perform as well as shocks valved for a lifted suspension with a heavier tire / wheel combination.
You get what you pay for. I'll get flamed, I'm sure, for continuing to stress what is, IMO, an obvious point, but I stand firm. While prices can vary a little based on when and where you buy them, in general, better components costs more money. If you don't want to sacrifice the ride quality, performance, and durability of the parts or your FJC, consider saving up and using a true suspension system to accomplish this task. You'll be happier with the way the vehicle performs on and off road, and the parts will hold up better and last longer under continued use. Most folks end up using the vehicle more aggressively over time, and a suspension that includes better springs, and shocks, will be worth the extra dough you spend in the long run.
Sorry to ramble on - good luck on your decision...
