I will do this when I remove the stabilizer bar again to grind some more off the area that Metal Tech recomends you remove to prevent the bar from rubbing the shock. I ground some off but by the looks of it not quite enough. So when you are doin the intall dont spare the grinder on that area otherwise you will have to remove it like I do and take more off.
I got mine on today.
I did have to grind my swaybar on the passenger side a bit too. Driver's side has 1/16" clearance to the spring, but passenger side was rubbing slightly. I've gotta drop Mark a line and let him know that my box didn't have the swaybar brackets in it when it arrived. Probably UPS's fault though, the box was pretty tore up when it reached me and I bet the brackets fell out.
Only real problem I ran into was a broken bolt in the front skid (the black one underneath the aluminum bling plate). Dang thing snapped right off going back in, so I've gotta drill it out and replace it when I've got more time to screw around.
Other than that, everything is quiet and the ride is great. Can't wait to get my new tires on it tomorrow.

Too bad about the brackets. I believe they were in a small box of their own. Maybe check the packaging again. Just trying to figure out how to post pics as a thumbnail. I have posted some pics in my gallery.
Great pics! Those slotted rims are a throwback to the old 4Runner alloys. Very classy.

You're going to need an aftermarket skid plate because the stock skid plate won't fit after the sway bar relocation brackets drop the sway bar. Make sure you find one that fits coilover kits. You're going to need those missing brackets because your sway bar will be rubbing all over the red coilover springs. Make sure you touch up any rubbed/grinded spots to avoid rust. Just my .02. Good luck!

Hey I called Mark today and ordered my saw kit and tc uca's, thanks for the info on your build. Mark is very helpful when it comes to setting up, tell him what your adding on up front and he presets it for delivery.
Your welcome and thank you to the rest of the forum. Thats what this place is all about. With the help of everyone on here you are able to investigate different mods and make decisions based on the results or problems of others.
Yes Mark was a great help with my kit also. I might have to adjust the drivers side up a little but for right out of the box he was pretty close. I believe I told him that all I had was an ARB bumper and a winch coming later but with the deal I got on the Titan Winch I couldn't say no so I ended up getting it right after I had ordered the SAW. It's no big deal I kinda like the nose down slightly look.
Hey BobKid dont forget the PICS. I know its tuff some times to get the pics and then have the time to post them but its good to let everyone else see the progress of your build.

Guilty!
I should get some pics this coming weekend. We're having a wrenching party for the DFW folks, so I'm sure we'll get lots of pics of the various rigs (including mine) while we help some others install their lifts. It oughta be a good time and a chance to start planning my next 'addition'
BTW - this is the perfect lift for the 285/75-16 Nitto ATs I decided to go with. The 33's looks so much better than what I was running, but still leave plenty of room to flex it up. Not even close to needing the body mount hack.

Relocation brackets are on the way. Mark jumped right on it after I dropped him a note about the way UPS delivered the box and I didn't need to ask for a replacement. Just goes to reinforce why it's so nice to deal with vendors from the forum.
As for the skids, the threads on the roll-your-own poly skids have me intrigued. I might just have to team up with another local FJ'er or two and try that. I like having protection down blow, but the weight is a real killer on steel skids that I'll hardly ever put to use.
