Ok after a week of driving, which for me equals 500 miles, here is my review of the Fox 2.0 kit.
Experience:
Novice. Off road about once or twice a month for the last year mainly on moderate trails. Most difficult trails were Gold Mountain in Big Bear CA, and half of Doran Loop in Barstow CA.
Equipment:
Fox 2.0 adjustable remote reservoir shocks (front and rear)
All Pro upper and lower control arm pro links
All Pro sway bar links and collars
All pro front bumper w/ large light bar
All Pro front skid and transmission skid
Tires 265/70R/17 BFG AT KO
Installation:
Performed by All Pro

Highway driving:
For me, the best settings are 4 in the front and 3 in the rear. This gives me a great ride that feels better than stock. No jarring at all, less brake dive, acceleration squat, and body roll around turns. You can eliminate theses all together by going up to 8, but then the ride is tolerable but definitely stiff and feels more like a truck. The lower setting of 3 in the rear takes out the slight jar of the lighter rear end and really balances out the feel of things like speed bumps or backing down a steep driveway between the front and rear of the truck. My turn radius has improved too. I do not know why that is but I no longer have to do a 3 point turn to turn around on my street, which means I can now calibrate my compass with ease!
Off Road
Holy crap does this kit rule!
Settings:
Front and Rear Set to 1
Tires aired down to 22 PSI
Trails:
Gas Line Road Wash
Short sandy wash about 2 miles long behind my house. This was so much fun. I have the A-TRAC / VSC mod and with the VSC disabled in 2 wheel hi, washes are an absolute blast! Great smooth ride and excellent steering control. No more bobbing up and down like a boat and bottoming out on the back side of whoops.
Pilot Rock Truck Trail
Willow Creek Jeep Trail
Two easy to moderate trails that I am familiar enough to run alone with the family.
Again, the improved control and recovery over whoops or ruts. The other major thing I noticed was I no longer bounced or bottomed out coming down off the backside of obstacles. With the stock suspension, I would dread going down rocky slopes knowing that as you ease down the backside of the rock the truck would generally bottom out on the factory skid due to the brake dive or just the downward angle of the truck. This would also happen if I braked too hard in trying to control the decent. This is an issue no longer. Then of course, with the added clearance of the lift you don’t have to pick your lines so carefully.
Over all a great setup that was well worth the money and the wait!
Umm.. I can take some but I just figured the sight of an FJ with a 3" lift and an All Pro bumper is nolonger unique! You and Tony have to check it out though. We need to do lunch again and go for a quick drive. The ride is really amazing.
And how much wrenching of the checkbook/credit card did it take? Curious minds want to know.. Ron
EDIT.. That may have came across wrong.. I just wanted to know what it cost..

I believe it! Congrats on the new suspension. I just put Icons on all the way around and the difference is night and day!
Thanks Brian for the product review. It's interesting to see your choices of where to set the compression adjustment on the shocks to get the ride you're most comfortable with. I like 5 on the front and 4 on the rear for highway driving but I turn it up a click or two for off-road or rockcrawling. It's nice to have those options or adjustability available because every driver certainly has his own tastes.

My settings are the same as yours Jon and they perform very well. Fox makes a great shock.
So you guys run 6/5 or 7/6 while off road? Is that just in the rocks or for any type of off road? I want to play more with the off road settings but I need to wait until I can get onto the more difficult trails with other people. I am pretty much set on the freeway though. I have had the same commute for the last 10 years so for me it was a good baseline and minimised the "I just spent $$$$ on a lift of course it rides great!" effect.
As for cost, give Terry at All Pro a call and have him give you a quote.
