I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe that the coilovers are at fault. I think that the fault is with the install, but my shadetree-mechanic skills are at a loss to determine the culprit. So, any advice or suggestions that any of y'all have would be appreciated. Here are the things that I have been looking at:

I have checked thoroughly, and I have seen no signs of rubbing anywhere.

I have seen pictures on this forum of beefier collars installed on the sway bar to keep it in place, could not having them contribute to the problem?

I have not seen any sign of leaking or that any seals have been broken.

The creak seems to be coming from the top of the assembly, perhaps the upper control arm..

Are there any joints in the front suspension that need to be lubricated? If anything, it seems to me that an ungreased joint is more likely to be causing the creaking.

Any advice would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help!

Here is a photo that I have of the front suspension, if it's of any help.
I know I read somewhere here about upper control arm bushing noise because of the angle the arms have to now be at with the lift.
Try this:
Loosen the upper control arm bolt but do not remove it; bounce the suspnsion and see if that changes anything.
If you can have someone bounce the suspension while touching the shock where the upper bushing and nut is.
I was going to tell you to remove the swaybar and skid plate to see if that could be the cause but it sounds like you are certian of the area the noise is in.

Thanks Doug!

I will check into both the control arm and the sway bar, I appreciate the suggestions.

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

So heres a quick update:

Took the swaybar off and lubed up the inside of that bushing with synthetic break grease. One of the squeaks the suspension was making is now gone. It was a high pitched squeak that was remedied with this.

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

Final Update:

The other two noises could not be diagnosed, the guys at ToyTec are shipping me a new set today and I will return mine to them for analysis. They arent even billing me up front to ship the new set out. This service is absolutely stelar and these guys stand behind their product and put their money where their mouth is. I'm thrilled! Thanks ToyTec!

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

BTW - both sides of mine squeak like crazy since my install. Haven't had a chance to trouble shoot, but planned on the swaybar first. FWIW - I doubt this thread is an isolated case of sqeaking for these. The question is why - so please post when you get info on resolutions and I will as well.

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

I have read about other guys with other setups having to remove the sway bar brackets and grease the bushings with bearing grease to get rid of squeaks.

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

I now have a totally silent ride!

Toytec sent me a replacement set of coilovers since, through multiple emails and photo analysis, they determined that they needed to find out why my setup had resulted in noise. When I reinstalled the second set I greased the bolt that goes through the lower mount for the coilover with break grease. I also had previously lubed up the sway bar bushings on both sides with synthetic break grease and that deffinately eliminated one of the noises I was getting. After the second install the setup is as quiet as a mouse! Thanks for the awesome service ToyTec!

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

Cool, I am glad you got it worked out.

Did swapping the coilovers help, or was it just in need of lubrication at the locations you mentioned?

Re: Installed the ToyTec adjustables today

The only different things I did for the re-install was to lube the sway bar bushgins and lube the bolt that attaches the bottom of the coilover to the lower control arm. The noise being gone could be from either replacing the unit, lubing up those two spots, or just reinstalling the coilovers. I recommend talking directly to ToyTec via emails if anyone is having problems or concerns with this suspension because they got to the bottom of things and took care of me within a week. I am really impressed.
