The leveling lift spacer should only be about an inch thick....That gives you the 2" lift that does the aforementioned "leveling"..... If the spacer is thicker than that I would tend to think that you got the front end parts of a lift kit that probably came with rear spring spacers as well..... I am quite happy with the new level look of mine. But I used an aluminum spacer from extreme truck toys. Good luck
