Re: Lower control arm bushings

I had to replace my front lower a-arm due to an accident, I noticed that the a-arm does see to (float) in the bushing, not sure if it is suppose to do this but it does, I am installing a RC 6" lift this weekend, so while I have everything apart I will check it.

Re: Lower control arm bushings

Well after looking around for awhile i think that that is normal movement for the lower control arms. My clickings are coming from somewhere else. I think im getting it from the tierod bushing or the bushing at the top of the steering knuckles that connect to the upper control arm. Ive brought it to two mechanics and we cant figure it out. Only click we did find was the brake pads sliding in place when go from foward to reverse.

The rough country kit is awsome, love it. But i went off roading once since ive installed it and now im down a $1000 in repairs and it still isnt fixed, im almost thinking of taking it off since i cant find the the problems and rough country doesnt seem to care when ive called multipule times.

Re: Lower control arm bushings

Chaos lower control arm bushings do not fit and they do not know of anyone that makes a stock replacement. The Yota dealership i went to said all my bushings are out and thats whats causing the knock but who knows.
