Re: OME kit installed (finally)

Was this just a simple swap of the shocks and springs or where there othe modifications that had to be done along with it?

Re: OME kit installed (finally)

just wondering.....you said you got your lift at Toyota of Dallas.....does that mean it's a dealer install? If so what does that do to your factory warranty?

No, he's in NC. FJ CRUISER OFFROAD is Toyota of Dallas and they have a great price on this kit.

EDIT: No price on the kit on that site. Here's the link to the kit on their other site, trdparts4u. OLD MAN EMU SUSPENSIONS Parts and Accessories for 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser

The OME kit has become my new top-o-the-list. The yellow shocks look great. I'm probably going to lift on stock tires for a while and by your pics I see it looks good.

Nice lift. How's the ride? Also, is there a spacer for the front, or does the shock give you the front lift?

No spacer, all spring.

Now thats what i thought, but Doug at toytec told me that you still need there spacers to get the 3" lift up front.

The OME is a 2" lift. Toytec uses the OME springs up front so they add the spacer up front to go 3".

I like, I am going with that set up also. How much did the dealer charge for the install?
