OME kit installed (finally)

I received my OME kit this past week from Toyota of Dallas and had it installed yesterday. After talking with Chris and Jacque, I elected to go with the N140/885 on the front and N71e/895 rear. Right now, it drives a bit light on the front since I don't have the DeMello bumper and winch on the front to load the heavier 885 springs. But, the side-side roll is much better than stock. The install went exactly as advertised. I took a couple pictures of the new ground clearance of the cross-over pipe and the frame/sliders clearance.

Hopefully, the bumper will arrive in the next couple weeks then it's time to pick some new boots for her and she should be good to go. Now it's time for some more time to get it dirty and test the ground clearance.

Re: OME kit installed (finally)

Nice, now all you need is some 35's to fill the gap and bump that clearance up a little more. Looks good so far.

Very nice. That front end will soften up as time goes on (the DO bumper will help too). The suspension will settle over the first 1k miles and the ride will improve even more.

Re: OME kit installed (finally)

Looks really good. Two questions, 1) Is you vary the height of your lift and it yes how much
2) Are those Demello sliders?

Please post pics with your new bumber!

No, the OME kits are not variable in height adjustment, just in spring load (light/moderate/heavy).

Yes, DeMello sliders with Line-X and will post pics with bumper/winch once they arrive and I install them.

No problem, it was a question I always wondered about the lifts and something I wanted to document.
