Re: RC 6" Rear Redflo?

I'm about 6 days in after having installed the ICON lower links, and the vibration is still non-existant. I'm very happy about that. I love the way the lower links look, they're absolutely awesome in every way, but it would be nice for everyone not to have to drop that kind of money just to get rid of the vibration.

Rough country could change their upper links that are supplied in the RC6 kit to provide the 2 degrees of pinion angle change necessary. I never did compare lengths of the RC upper links as compared to the stockers, so I can't say whether they had any pinion angle change designed into them.

I figure you need to lower the pinion 5 to 8.5 degrees using the stock RC links to stop the vibration so you need shorter lower links. But I went with the new drive shaft route because I was concerned about the stock drive shaft length and binding of the track bar.

Re: RC 6" Rear Redflo?

Fabtech has the longer links upper and lower and there is no vibration problems. I went with a OME medium rear coil and ordered custom lenght Skyjacker rear N shocks and the ride is better than stock.

Thanks for the confirm on the shocks. I'm thinking of going radflo's all round w/ the RC6''. How did you make out with the ICON rear lower links & drive shaft vibration? I'm hoping not to run into that but the more I look around the more common it seems to be.
Thanks again man.
I've never had a problem with vibration on my 6" RC lift. How many exactly are having a problem with this?

Exactly, not sure but 7 or 8 people on this site posted about it.
So it's a concern on install. Although it might not be problem at all.
